Party Preparing - Painting

I'm so sorry for being way behind on my blogging!! I have several birthday post to put up and I have been putting them off because I know they are going to be time consuming and I don't want to leave out any details, but I promise to get them done this week!

Here are some photo's of us painting the party window. I thought this was a bit more unique for marking the party house rather than balloons on the mailbox. We were all happy with the way it turned out!

Emmy did water color painting while I did the window. She demonstrated amazing self control and didn't paint on the window and stayed on her paper! I was very proud of her!

You know my secret now..... I don't free hand it! lol

I love it!

It could have bit a little bit bigger I think, so next time I'll have a better idea of the size I need to do!

Emmy gave Lilah a painted rock and before I knew it she had tasted it hahhaha

Birthday Goodie Box

The girls got a Birthday Goodie Box from the states the other day. Emmy had a really good time pulling things out one by one and playing with them and Lilah had a blast with the empty box haha... it didn't take much to please here this time!

Emmy got bracelets, make up and chap stick, stickers, really cute velor track suit with several velor pants, one of the little barbie girls on a horse from The Diamond Castle, hand soaps (this was one of her favorites haha) and lotions, socks, picture frames, candy, and Signing Time Complete DVD Set!!! (Includes 34 DVDs, 3 Board Books, 8 Flash Card Sets, and 12 Music CDs)

Lilah got prefolded cloth diapers, soft plastic Gerber pants, and 3 cans of puffs (her favorite!!!)

We want to give a huge thank you for the gifts. We are so excited to have the complete Signing Time set and I am really looking forward to Emmy exploding with more signing. I will have to work hard to keep up with her! haha

This was her favorite thing to play with all morning. She'd say "soap" and "wash hands" and pretend to use it. She'd also smell it and say "aawwww"

Fairy Dancing Girl

Today was our 2nd Fairy Dancing Class. We have so much fun when we are there and it's so cute to watch them! I got some great pictures today! I still haven't got a good shot of Emmy all dressed up in her dance outfit. She can be a little disgruntle in the morning hahha and isn't in the mood for me to take her picture. I think I'm going to have to dress her up in it just to snap a few photo's.

Jade & Lilah hanging out with us mom's while their big sisters have class. They are getting so big now! Lilah is 3 weeks from being a year old and Jade is 7 months older than Lilah and 5 months younger than Emmy.

We watch the girls from the waiting room on a large flat screen TV. They show the girls in real time. This allows the instructor to have more influence over the class but all of us mommy's can still keep an eye on our cuties!

Puppy Love

We dropped by Jess & Emil's house before heading to the beach on Sunday to see their new baby puppies. They are only a couple of weeks old and in the cute shaky walking stage. The girls were all so gentle with them...except Lilah did give one good pull up on one of the puppies ears. (Sorry puppy!) It'll be so much fun when I can get the girls a kitten or a bunny! I have to stop thinking about it because I'm already getting too excited!!

Happy Engagement

Saturday we went to St Francis Winery Resort to attend Kim's cousins engagement party and stayed the night. Happy Engagement Emil & Jess! The party was beautiful and we had a lot of fun! Too much fun.... we were feeling it the next day. I enjoyed planning the girls outfits and getting them all ready. I might be a little bias but I think they were absolutely stunning little beauties!!

Cleland Wildlife Park

Yesterday we took the girls to the Cleland Wildlife Park so Emmy could get up-close and personal with her first koala and kangaroos. I could have not asked for more behaved children for the whole day. How lucky was I!? Emmy was so interested in watching all the animals and when she got to feed them that was the icing on the cake. She had no fear of the animals and was just full of love for them. She got to see Red Kangaroos, Grey Kangaroos, Koalas, Black Swans, Tons of other types of Ducks and Birds, Dingos, and cute little rodent bunny things. Every time she saw an animal she'd point at it and tell us what it was and she was so excited. She fed them all the pellet food available at the park including the dingos haha needless to say they were not interested in it at all. Abby's new bow, William, came along with us and I think Emmy might have a crush on him. She really enjoyed being picked up high to see the animals and William was even able to catch the tiniest baby duck for Emmy to pet and feed. It followed us for a while and my favorite part of yesterday was Emmy squealing in delight "It's A BABY Duck!!!" it was sooo cute to hear!! Lilah slept in her sling nearly the whole time and missed it all. I look forward to our animal encounters to come in the future. It was so much fun!!
