I took this video the other day. Auntie Abby called and had a special surprise for the girls. She busted out some tunes on the violin and Emmy wanted to join in and got out her guitar for a jam session! So cute!!

My Little Fisher Girls
We went out in the boat this morning and went the furthest we've gone yet to ggrrr I forget the name of the island. It took us about an hour of nonstop driving to reach our spot. It was also another first for us.....we didn't have anyone with us so I was the captains helper with getting the boat into the water, dropping the anchor and getting it back out the water. I didn't do too much really haha. We lost some big bites due to the line being cut by the reefs, but did get to bring home 2 rock cods and we pulled out a frozen dwarf rock cod from the week before and had a yummy dinner. Kim steamed them with ginger and garlic um!

The Many Faces of Lilah
While I was cleaning up the sewing room the girls found some clip in neon hair things from my beauty school days. We clipped them in and the danced around to the radio I already had going. I asked Lilah for a picture and this is what I got!! After she makes her face she'll give me a big smile and ask me to see it, lol!!

More Face Painting
More face painting!! Lilac smudged hers right away, and Emmy insisted on RED lips over pale pink and Finn was a tiger which I was very pleased with how it turned out.

Face Painting
I got to do a mini face painting class the other day with Belinda from Fabulous Faces in Adelaide. It was so much fun and something I've wanted to do for a long time and everything magically lined up and I got the opportunity!! As of right now this is just something fun for me to do with my children and I have no plans to become employed as a Face Painter. It's also heaps harder to do than it looks. Mastering control of the brush is the secret to making it look good and that comes from good ol'practice. Here's a few photos from my first child session on my daughters and my nieces.

Cheeky Monkey Play Cafe
We went to the new play cafe in Gawler this past monday with the cousins. The girls had a lot of fun, but was not happy when grandma called it quits after two hours. Luckily we are going to another play cafe on Saturday so I was able to appease her with a promise that we'll stay as long as she wants to. I hope I haven't set myself up for 6+ of noise squealing lol.
