After Lilah went to bed last night Emmy and I had a little special time and colored on the floor. I was drawing whatever she was telling me too and then she would color it in. Pretty soon she was off on her own page drawing and she said "Look mommy, a cat!" and wowzers...it was a cat!!! Check out the picture below!!
If you can't see the cat then you're an idiot!
I'd love to know at what age it's "normal" for children to start drawing recognizable objects. I imagine it's probably right around the 2 - 2 1/2 mark, but if anybody knows anything specific about it....do share!
