Kim stayed home today to help me take Emmy to the doctor. She woke up 1 in the morning crying and we asked her if she hurt and she stopped crying and looked at us. Poor little thing. When we asked her were she hurt she took her dad's hand and put it on the side of her head. We figured it was her ears and we'd better have it looked at. Sure enough it's the beginning of an infection along with a red throat.
Being a kid is rough, but it doesn't slow them down any. A bit of pain medicine and a hat to keep the wind off her ears and she was having a blast gardening with her dad and playing with bubbles. If you turn up the volume you'll here her say "bubbles" several times along with doing the sign for bubbles.
