Fright Night 2013 at Movie World

No real spectacular pictures here, but wanted to share them anyways...  We had free tickets to Fright Night at Movie World so we took the kiddos.  We didn't know how scary it would be for them since it's recommended for ages 14 and up, but the girls have a good understanding of what Halloween is all about and that it's fun to be scared, so compared to other Australian children their ages I figured it wouldn't freak them out to bad and I was right.... haha they had a blast!  They had all kinds of creepy "actors" walking around.  Lots of zombies and demons...  Lilah's favorites were the caged catwomen that were dancing outside of Club Blood and the female zombies.  Emmy said she was a vampire and Lilah said she was a dead girl but we went in minimum dress up since it was going to be a late night.  Out of the four haunted houses Emmy picked the Evil Dead ..... I don't watch horror movies, but I think it was based on a film?  Here's the Movie World advertisement for it.... Kim carried Emmy and I held Lilah.... we made it through with lots of screams and no tears.  At the end Emmy was pretty proud of herself and would have gone through another one, but Lilah said one was enough haha

This was in the scooby doo roller coaster... she's such a ride junkie.  She wants to ride this one over and over!

Lilah's favorite!

Eating their Jello Shot hahah

Daddy teasing her to take her big shot haha

Lilah with her blinking headband!

Emmy picked a blinking sword that I'm sure will be used for evil later on against her sister.
Lilah rocking her the blood tattoo's that Grandma Jan sent!!  I told her to show me her "dead girl" face and this is what she did lol

Trick or Treat Party 2013

We had so much fun on October 31st this year.  I totally dropped the ball and didn't get pictures of our pumpkins, all our decorations, or all of our guests but I did manage to snap a few photo's and here they are!  We had a full garage and driveway of Halloweeners, sweet treats, and spooky music.  Emmy was Frankie Stein from Monster High and Lilah was a Rainbow and I was Rarity the Unicorn.  Daddy didn't dress up, but he would have made a good Grinch!

Our Pumpkins 2012

Heading off to take Emmy to Kindy!
Carving Pumpkins in the Kitchen!
Ooops I forgot to take a picture of the finished project, but I opted for simple triangle eyes and smile face.  By this point we had already painted pumpkins for 5 straight hours, cleaned up the mess, had dinner, cleaned up that mess and then they insisted that they carve some......so momma was feeling a bit lazy! hahaha
Painting Painting Painting
I think she was having a pretty good time!
Lilah's Masterpiece!
Emmy's Masterpiece Side One
Emmy's Masterpiece SideTwo
I did this free hand looking off a coloring page of Tinker Bell off my iPhone, but I don't think it really looks like her......I totally see Lady Gaga hahhahahah  I think it's the big nose with the big black eyebrow lol!
awwwww I love my little Ghost Family!
My little Nightmare Pumpkins!
Witchy Poo
We ended up getting this one a new hat with blue hair and I had planned on carving and painting a carrot for a nose but ooopies..... she never got a nose lol

Farmer Belinda with Farmer Emmy on the Big Red Trackers :)
This was the girl's first ride on the back of a pick up when we went out to the field.
They've done the picking and these were the leftovers.... the kids had a great time trying to find just the right ones!
The fun wasn't over yet..... now they got to ride on the fork lift and move around some skids with Farmer Michelle!
A big THANK YOU to Michelle and Belinda for making our Halloween extra special!
